Edinburgh Film Festival. 
Held in Edinburgh on the 16th - 27th of june.

The festival holds various Screenings,Premiers,special events and parties.

The target audience is anyone who wants to see the film screenings.

Indie/Rock bands play Reading But with dance and rap artists On as well.

Progress Report

For the scene project I have looked at a photographer based in cambridge 

and written an article on them.

I feel it was okay and quite easy besides however i think i could improve it

with an interview on her to go in article. 

I think next i am going to try contact her and to set up an interview with her. 

Remembering

1) There are three performance spaces. 

One is the main room used for mainly gigs.

There's junction two is the theater room and dance.

Junction three is where mainly workshops are held.

2) Target audience's; 

All ages are the target audience due to the different going on' there.

- Gigs/live music

- theater

- comedy

- dance

- workshops.

the interests are of any that relate to those examples given above, 

they can be family events but the live music mainly is for young adults

and not children due to the situations given.

3) what do they offer thats different to other venues?

The junction offers a more variety of arts as they offer dance and theater whilst the cornex change does not, it only offers comedy and live music. They offer

craaaaambaaaaa

I've been on the press team,
i've written a press release, updated facebook and twitter and done some promotional work
i created the twitter page and have been promoting it on my own personal twitter account and also on my facebook page.
i wrote a press release to send out to radio stations and news papaers.
ive also been promoting it trying to get attention for it.


also, i have recently changed settings on twitter to say that the event has been moved back a week.

Petition.

Petiton has 35 signitures from 11am till 4pm.

campaign day

My plan for my campaign day was to walk around town and get signatures for my petition.

I wanted to raise awareness of my campaign and to get more people aware of the facebook group, my plan then changed completely because i was off ill so i had to make my petition on the internet and get people aware of it through networking sites, i asked people i knew to sign it from various places and then asked them to send the word on, around 6 people set their facebook status's as a link to my petition and facebook group, from this i ended up getting signatures from people i didn't know of. I also posted a link to the petition on the facebook group and sent out messages through facebook. 

If i could do it differently i would i would of came in if i wasn't ill and walked around town. 

next week i am going to try get more signatures and also to maybe send my petition if i get enough people to sign it off to someone who can change some things. Also i am going to print of posters to stick up around college that will have a url to where the petition is on the internet so people can access it through that. 

Petition

My plan for today is too set up a online petition using http://www.ipetitions.com/ and try get as many signitures as i can.
I have posted a link to it on my facebook campaign group and also asked for my friends to sign it,
I am also going to create anither one that is signed in person so i can then walk around and ask people to sign it.
